Who We Are
Horses and Veterans in Partnership
At Liberty CONNECTIONS was founded in 2023 as an organization built by veterans for veterans. It was founded to help veterans and others in need who have been impacted by trauma and struggling with life’s challenges. We are donor-supported , committed to providing, non-clinical, trauma-informed and research based equine assisted healing activities. Our events and retreats are designed for veterans and family members who are recovering from anxiety, depression, traumatic events, or high levels of stress.
This year, we will offer services at several independent horse farms including Willetts Horse Farm (Bolivia, NC; Ladd Farm, Bridgewater, NH; Back in the Saddle Equine Therapy Center, Warner, NH; and UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Goffstown, NH – where any person can find healing, friendship, and support to live a more connected life.

What We Do
“Herd Nights”
Join us for a calming experience when we observe herd dynamics. Explore how horses communicate with each other using body language. They ‘speak’ to each other without talking.
Snack and drinks provided.
Single and Multiple Day Retreats
Our day retreats are opportunities for you to relax, and to gain some insights into yourself. Its a day to enjoy yourself and have fun in the process.

Special Events
We will have insightful professionals visit who will provide demonstrations, exhibitions, and seminars.
Financial Highlights
At Liberty CONNECTIONS is 100 percent funded by donations and grants. Veteran retreats and events are free to all veterans and their family members. During 2023, all lodging and meals were provided to veterans at no cost. We will continue this policy in 2024.
Donations are made to At Liberty CONNECTIONS by private citizens, community organizations, and corporations. Our staff, board of directors, and corporate officers are all VOLUNTEERS.
As a federally recognized nonprofit charitable entity, we are licensed to conduct operations in two states – North Carolina and New Hampshire. Our nonprofit exempt status was approved on February 27, 2023. Our EIN is 92-2473288.
Accordingly, all donations to At Liberty CONNECTIONS may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
