We conducted our 1st 2024 Women Veteran Retreat during March 15-17th at Wild Horse Ranch, Supply, NC. The retreat began at 12:00pm on Nov 23, 2023 with registration, introductions followed by herd observations. Women veterans were treated to several equine assisted activities scheduled on the agenda. Veteran feedback indicated that bushcraft with Dan Badger and herd observation in the pasture were the most liked but all activities were enjoyed. During August 23-25, 2023, Camp Resilience, along with several other collaborators, conducted a women veteran retreat at Ladd Farm in Bridgewater, NH. Supporting this event were Wounded Warrior Project, Ladd Farm, At Liberty CONNECTIONS, Operation Renewed Freedom, Moon Shadow Farm, and the American Red Cross, among others.
